Easy now... this is heavy!

The photographer is helping but taking photos at the same time. Thank goodness for blocks that ease the load. She couldn't lift but could prevent slippage, which is a good thing. I can only imagine the damage caused by over 300 pounds landing out-of-control on the deck!

Lined up and lowering!

The board slid into its easily. It stopped short a bit forward and had to be pried and nudged a bit to allow it to drop into place. I fully expected to have to pry, nudge, adjust and readjust in order to install the pivot pin, but when I went below, there was light showing through the 1" opening! That little hole you see in front of Dave's hat was perfectly lined up! Wow.

Neat deal.
