This is a shot of the settee area looking aft. The small cleats running lengthwise are there for the seats. The bilges are primed with 404/414 and the string along the sole leading through to the stern is the layout-line for the steering cable. You can just make out the internal part of the skeg way back in the stern. There are two shelves, one on either side, for storage. I've pierced the fiddles for tie-downs.

The long plywood straps on either side near the top are the backing for the addition I had to make for the error in the offsets for the two stern panels. We now will have a bit more room in the aft end of the boat because of this. Our upholstered back cushions will cover these.

The seats are now constructed. There are two top-opening bins in each. The toe space is open below and, hopefully, we won't be cluttering it up with stuff. The series of holes is for ventilation. These will be below the galley counter when it is installed.

You can see the skeg better in this photo. The shelves have been removed temporarily for ease of access.
