The intermediate bulkheads and stringers are finished on the wing foils. I have completed the decking on both of the ama bows. The wing bulkheads are all ventilated as good air circulation is a must for keeping the boat healthy. Everything is coated inside and out with two coats of epoxy to protect the wood. There are epoxy/wood composite boats still sailing after 30 years.

You can see the wing deck bulkheads. There are four on each side. They each are attached to bulkheads in the ama that are firmly attached the inside of the ama hull. The boat becomes essentially a singular structure- very strong and stiff.

Next are the wingdeck stringers...

The decking on the foils is finished up to the point where I need to leave them open for the addition of a “forehead" for Rikki-tikki-tavi. This is not on the plans, but we'll disclose the reasoning later.

The wingdeck stringers are finished, along with a coating of epoxy barrier paint inside the wings. You can see the openings for deck hatches. There are three on the starboard side next to the cabin. The large square opening allows for access into the ama. I've decided to make the all flush with the deck. More work, to be sure, but reduces the number of things to trip over.
