Our mast and boom were custom built by LaFiell. They arrived on a large truck in January of 2002. We began accumulating all the pieces and parts for standing rigging, running rigging and furling systems.
November of 2003 brought everything together (well, almost!) including Dave from up North to help. He and I ran the lines, cut the wires, attached StayLoks and such. The winches went on, navigation lights were attached, the mount for the radar bolted in place. We assembled the large ProFurl for the head sail. |

This is Dave working on the masthead. We had an extra long crane built in anticipation of future needs for sail configuration. The mast is tapered at the top third for that elegant finish.
