The navigation station...

One of the cowlings is off the engine so you can see how easy it will be to work on our little Yanmar 3GM. The navigator will sit facing forward, of course, with the chart table in front. His or her feet will rest on the engine cowling. There is a lot of room for instruments and electrical panels and cabinetry.

I originally planned on mounting a Sigmar diesel heater on the bulkhead behind the seat. After all, we are going north first, where cabin heat is a good thing. Now we are considering a hydronic system that will be located in the engine compartment. The split cabin arrangement can be heated more effectively with this unit.

The wetlocker...

That coppery looking thing inside the wetlocker is our grounding plate. There is drainage to the "bilge", though there really isn't much of one in this boat. The controls for the watermaker are inside this locker. Book stowage perhaps on top? Single berth to the left with a small seat for putting on one's shoes or boots in front (not visible in this photo), which also allows ease of climbing into the bunk.
