I guess we're a bit lazy about taking photos (and the first mate was a professional photographer!). The closed wings are decked and you can see the boarding platforms I created for the after ends.

What you are looking at here is the sterndeck (notice the four-inch overhangs?) with the hatch where the quadrant will reside. The opening below is for the rudder arm which will be booted with neoprene to keep out the sea. The clamps in the window are holding the interior trim in place while the epoxy cures.

I've begun the deck stringers, but am leaving an opening to allow ease in getting larger pieces inside as I work on the interior furnishings. We are sure going to have a LOT of deck space. I am thinking lounge chairs...

A view looking aft from the starboard deck shows the three wingdeck hatches. There are two on the port side. I wanted them dry and I wanted them flush to the deck, so I built coamings and drainage channels. It was a lot of extra work, but I think it looks better and there will be fewer things to stub one's toes on and to catch lines, like the proverbial garden hose- always catching on something when you are dragging it around the yard. The access hatches into the amas are also flush.

Notice that the cockpit seats are also in– with hatch lids!
