Yes, it's me working on the deck seams. They are joined with 9-ounce biaxial tape and then sheathed with 4-ounce cloth. You can see Rikki-tikki's eyes, though the Lexan will cover both at once and the openings will appear as one.

The deck opening in front of me is the foredeck "anchor" locker, but I don't think we'll be stowing any anchors here. It is fairly roomy and I made it a dry locker with a 12v vent fan in the forward end that will ventilate the head.

The headstay chainplate is bolted in. I decided on an access plate to check for tightness as necessary. I had a local metalshop guy make the chainplates. I provided him with the 304 stainless marked with the patterns. I started to polish them myself, found it very time- consuming, so farmed it out.

Notice the overhangs on the deck- starts at zero at the bow and widens to four inches at the wing foils. I will be building them up to about 1-1/8" thick.
