At this point I thought you might like a few captions to point out where things are in this boat. The guest berth aft is a single, but the plans call for a double. We wanted to put in a seat at the foot of the companionway and a wet locker. We didn't think we needed room for six to sleep, so we have a 54" double forward for in-port comfort, and two singles, which are very roomy, being 36" wide and seven feet long. Underway, we'll most likely use the aft berth as a sea berth. When we have couples as guests, I guess the first mate and I may have to sleep separately- one drawback to our plan...
I am building the quadrant myself. It goes where the word "Stern" is. I am using aircraft sheaves for the steering system. The auxiliary engine is to be installed below the cockpit with access from above and inside the cabin.

The cockpit floor is not in yet. It will probably be one of last things to get glued down.
