Well, we are pretty much finished with the deck hardware, the rudder and steering is hooked up and the steering pedestal installed. All the chainplates are bolted on.

The propeller is installed too, though Dave wrapped it all up in plastic to protect it from dust. It's a three-blade folding prop by Flex-O-Fold. The gearing is very nice and we sure hope it performs as well as we expect.

The Aquamet shaft was made by Killian Prop. It's twelve feet long! Drilling the hole for the shaft required me to custom build a special hole saw to the tune of about $110– for one hole. Luckily I calculated correctly and only had to cut once!

Our inboard chainlocker...

It's accessed from the vanity/dressing area and can be rinsed out with the shower wand. It's actually in the port wing and drains overboard. There is a vent above for keeping things smelling fresh.
